On the heels of that news comes a billion dollar lawsuit against five major baby bottle manufacturers. At the heart of the lawsuit, which was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, are a 5 year old boy and an infant girl who both have bodily deformities which their doctors claim were caused by exposure to the chemical. The Defendants stand by their original claims that their plastic baby bottles are safe and pose no risk to human health.
